Hello, i am running a Google display campaign in financial niche, im using Google Display with very nice banners that i paid to a graphic designer, i get 400K impressions 50 clicks and 0 leads in 2 days with a cost of 49?.
The landing page is my site, that dont look very well if i say the truth.
Im going to create 3 optimized different landing pages... Do you think this will solve the problem?
Im planning launch a remarketing campaign after get 500 clicks.
If you get 500 clicks... it means that are 500 different people or not?

So you have a landing page, that you don't like it yourself and you are marketing it to earn?

The landing page is more then 50% of the job and first priority.

Then the most smart that i can do is design 5 or 6 good landing pages, with the sign up form in different places of the landing page ....different colours...offer some "ebook" or "free course" for try get more leads, right?
Run each landing page for 1000 clicks and see the results of each one...do you think is a good idea? Or 1000 clicks is few for get results?

beware about Google display mostly they display your ads on some ios-android junk app thats exactly what happened with me your ads are shown to kids iPad's how you expecting leads from kids 6~15 Old . if you didn't play it right Google will steal your money .
display networks are only fro big names only Google didn't care about small investors like you and me . read my last threads i founded solution to it .

Do a proper targetting with managed placements now, and block several sites, so you can get proper targetting. and you can start remarketing now, as your remarketing list is ready also.

if you get 500clicks, it does not means that you have 500 different people, it can be any number of people.

you can target as audience targetting also, that may give you leads.

To be successful with CPC, targetting is your main and probably only concern. The better you target your audience, the greater the ROI.

Secondly, if you don't like the landing page yourself it seems that you've answered at least part of your own question ;)

I choose that my banners be shown only in the webs that i choose, i choose websites related with stock trading and earn money....so...i think im targetting the correct audience, right?

Which is a good % of clicks that finish in leads? I have seen some threads talking about 40%...but i think is crazy...i think that 15% is a good number right?

I think you have not done placement properly. You should do placement manually and exclude irrelevant websites. Do proper targeting. You have to consider all the targeting factor once again like placements, keywords, location, language etc.
Next thing is that you have to make your landing page interesting. You yourself is not liking your landing page then how can you get desired results. And if you are getting 500 clicks, it doesn't mean that they all are different. You should go for remarketing and frequency capping.
