I have this site where the homepage is some sort of squeezepage and has subpages for blog, contact page, etc. All the other pages and posts are still indexed except for the homepage. When I check site:domain.com in google, I weren't able to see my main page.. Did some of you already experienced this?

Also, ranking for the main keyword lost.

You want to check that you have no weird redirect going on from the homepage to another page (like a redirect that only Google can find, when it accesses your site).

Check to see if your homepage is still in the Google cache.

If you're not afraid of doing so, I would add the site to Google's Webmaster Tools to see if that will show you any indexing problems the big G is having with your site.

But YEAH, I think I had the same situation once, where the homepage was penalized but the sub-pages were not...this could also be the case here. If that's the problem, you can either choose to un-spam your homepage and file a reinclusion request, or you can just get started with a new domain.

Often these penalties do have time-limits...so, if you un-spamify your homepage and then just WAIT, it could be that the big G will simply lift the penalty sometime...although this could actually take a long time (as in a couple of years).

I was actually using OptimizePress in WordPress, so my homepage is a specific page that's been set as static. As I've said, that page is some sort of sales/squeeze page, the contents were almost images and a piece of video.
