As you can see initially after launch in beginning of August close to zero traffic. All the time only one PR5 backlink present, ZERO black hat SEO, but IMHO very good on-site SEO. Then suddenly huge spike, ranked 4 on SERP for my site's name and on first page for a lot of keywords (don't really have 'keywords' per se, searchers look for content to download, I have an index page that tells them where to do it).

After just 5 days my front-page is so far back in the results I don't care to find it, however some detail pages are still on page 4.
Since the search traffic graph was drawn with a ruler at 27000 impressions and 2000 clicks for 5 days, this makes me believe Google boosted my site initially, and since I didn't do anything bad (except having a bounce rate of 80% :() I don't think I'm being punished. I'm now starting to build backlinks and looking into some safe black hat SEO.

What do you guys think this rise/fall is?
