Penguin knocked me out, and I'm trying to clean up. I interlinked my websites using my autoblogs, and one site had 2,500+ links to another of my sites, which dropped waaay down, ooops! :( I backed off on the links maybe a month ago, dropping it down to maybe 50-100 links, but Google webmasters still shows 2,500+ Will this ever update? My main keywords continue to drop, it's like no matter what I do, it's bad. I'm hoping that after a few months, they'll recrawl, and it won't look so spammy. What do y'all think?

Make sure with all of your sites you resubmit your xml feed and ping your current pages and their links. Either way, google will eventually realize the change. The only thing is, they will do it on their timetable so you may have to wait a while.

Too bad to hear about your problems, I'm not sure what they are up to (who knows). I sadly just saw (too) further declining of most traffic (which from penguin felt constantly), and increased traffic loss after the last weekend.

Yeah, this one particular site, and one particular keyword, went from bottom of 1st page/top of 2nd page to #140 right after Penguin, and now it's #160! I'm concentrating on other streams, like my mailing list, social media, good articles I write myself, and I'm going to have to troll some forums myself.

Thanks for the advice. Building the XML maps is tricky; with the autoblogs, some of my sites have 1,000+ pages, and creating maps is a problem.
