Google: Fluff Content Hard For Search Engines To Understand & Maybe Rank

Google's John Mueller the other day said on Twitter the example given to him was

My take: this is easier said than done.

Any attempt by Google to cut down on 'fluff' needs to take into account NICHE

Recipe content, for example, is notorious for fluff.

Plus, it appears this can easily be worked around using Q+A type headings that attack related sub-topics

Google loooooooooooooooooooves fluff content.
I rarely use google but every time I do, I see a lot of fluff.

Google is full of shit... It's also full of fluff. Shit-covered fluff. If there's anything Google is full of more than shit, it's fluff.

Well, i don't think there is any viable solution to this. Machine can't understand text the same way humans do, at least not for now.

They always choose 5000-word articles over 500-word articles so yeah, they like overly detailed/fluff content.
