Google Changes title tag to keyword you're marketing

    Anyone ever noticed this when creating extremely powerful backlinks?

    When I do huge link pushes (and I mean huge) on a new keyword, the site will often, after about a week, show up in google search results (no SERP change yet) with the title tag of <insert keyword>

    Is this an indication of extremely large amounts of link juice? Newness of the site?

    This is what happens (and has done this often lately).

    Create 5 campaigns in a row... link pyramids with 1 million links or so worth of link pressure above each of them

    <title tag example> The best anime movies of 2010 </title tag example>

    Shows up in google search as <title> TOP ANIME IN 2010 </title>
    It's happened more than a few times...

    Often times keywords marketed (such as <keyword review>) will replace the title for that particular search... despite the fact the word review doesn't appear anywhere in the meta description or title tag
    Last time this happened (around a month ago), the site moved up 90 something positions in the SERPs into the top 2 within a week.
    Just curious if anyone else has noticed this happening.

    It does not happen with blog comment spam

    Has happened to me on a site that have never been blasted with anything. Just manual White Hat Seo WP site and still does that. I have no clue what is happening :D

    Its micro data. Its pulling those keywords when they are searched for. Makes perfect sense.
