    I bet you created an account anyway.

    To be fair I really dislike Facebook pages, I think the way you create them, manage them and add content to them is crap. I dont know why they need to be linked to your profile, you should be able to create a standalone business page. Its a shame Google has gone down the same route.

    Me too.....its appears that to register your username, i.e googleplus/myname you need to add a code snippet to your site and then google will eventually pick this up and associate any search for your name with your company.

    As opposed to the "get 20+ likes" method on Facebook
