    I have been using Google Authorship for my site since the past 5-6 months. on September 7, the authorship stop showing up for my site. I have checked everything at my end like the authorship tags, also checked it at rich snippet tool, everything looks O.K

    Any idea what should I do??

    Not sure but I would check the code to make sure it is still OK...

    Within the <head> section of your website's page template, add the following piece of code:

    <link href='http://plus.google.com/123456789012345678901/' rel='author'/>

    Substitute your own Google+ profile URL into the 'href' attribute - or change the long number to match your Google+ profile ID.

    Depending on how your website template works, you may wish to change the single quote marks for double quote marks, or omit the forward-slash from near the end of the code.

    Thanks for the help Steelballs but everything was O.K and working fine few days ago. I think the problem is at the Google end.

    I still got my profile showing up.
    Also, you know that just becuse you got a profile dosent mean it will show up in the SERP, right?
    What kind of site is it, quality/quantitie?

    Why have it within the head section? It's possable to have it wherever you want to, e.g in the 'About the author' box if you have one.
    That would make it alot easyer for the author to use their own link if you accept guest blogs/posts.
    Mabye it's wrong according to the guidelines, but it does work, just saying :)

    PHP is a serverscript and is showing HTML for the visitors (G bot).
    Look into steelballs post a few posts up, you'll find the <head> in header.php, altrugh you can paste the code elsewhere as I mentioned.
    Once the code is done confirm it with http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets

    It will come and go. The important thing is to have a steady stream of followers coming in. I'm not trying to spam my signature, this is just true. You can use Addmefast to create a slow trickle just to keep it active. Also make some regular posts to your Google Plus page. That helps.
