Hello is there a way to create a domain and get stats who enter from Tiktok to this site and who from Instagram and they both clicking same link? Or i have to do like domain.com/tiktok and domain.com/instagram ? or there is a way to check through same link from where i got most visitors?

Just check traffic source in your google analytics or server stats.

Add ?utm_source=tiktok&utm_medium=social to your link for TikTok and ?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=social for Instagram. Google Analytics will show you detailed insights on who's coming from where under the Acquisition tab.

Yes, there are several ways to track the source of visitors to your website, even if they're all clicking the same link from different platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

1. **UTM Parameters**: You can append UTM parameters to your URLs to track traffic sources. For example, you can add "?utm_source=tiktok&utm_medium=social" to the end of your link for TikTok and "?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=social" for Instagram. This allows you to see in your analytics which platform generated the most visitors.

2. **Referrer Data**: Your web server logs or analytics tools can capture referrer data, showing you the URL of the page that referred the visitor to your site. While this may not be as precise as UTM parameters, it can still provide valuable insights into the source of your traffic.

3. **Analytics Platforms**: Platforms like Google Analytics offer detailed insights into your website traffic, including the ability to track traffic sources and user behavior. You can segment your traffic by source (e.g., TikTok, Instagram) to see which platform is driving the most visitors.

4. **Custom Scripts**: You can create custom scripts to capture and store information about the source of your visitors. This might involve using cookies or tracking pixels to identify where users are coming from when they visit your site.

5. **Unique Landing Pages**: While it's not necessary to create separate domains for each platform, you can create unique landing pages for different marketing channels. Each landing page can have its own URL and tracking parameters, allowing you to measure the effectiveness of your marketing efforts on each platform.

By implementing one or more of these methods, you can effectively track the source of visitors to your website, even if they're all clicking the same link from different platforms like TikTok and Instagram. This data can help you optimize your marketing strategies and improve the performance of your website.

Reading through this pisses me off. Why don't google just let you see what page the visits came from. This used to be the most essential feature of any analytics system, I can't imagine someone using one that makes this basic task so freaking hard.

If I go into an ancient stat app like awstats it is right there without any messing about. Google though, super modern, trillion dollar company google can't show where the traffic came from with such granularity. F google.

install Google side kit login on your website, then connect to Google side kit and see your visitor status.
hope you understand;)
