Hey guys, I logged into my Google account to see exactly where I stand post-Penguin, clicked analytics, and it's like, I need to sign up for an account, and copy and paste code into my headers. Huh? Thought I did that already! Did they wipe everything out, and clean slate us? Or maybe I'm hallucinating?

Thanks!

That's the new interface for Google Analytics. You don't need to sign up for a new account, nor to use a new analytics code.
Just sign in using your old account.

Regardless of old or new interface you should see data just displayed differently. Go go admin/trackling code/tracking status to see if its receiving data.

I'm signed into Google, I click on Analytics, and it asks me to sign up. Doesn't go to anything analytical. If I click on the manage tabs on my sites in webmaster tools, it goes to "create analytic account". Guess I'll have to start from scratch... contacting Google about their own errors is pointless.

I have yet to see an anlytics account just disappearing, unless it was deleted.Sure you using the smae email you used before for the account or the master account you are using?
