I've been seeing odd fluctuations across multiple websites since the 6th roughly. Round Table mentions something about an e-commerce update silently coming around the 2nd or so, but nobody here has said a peep about it.

I can't tell what the update has done, as I personally haven't lost or gained much... but I have noticed a CONSTANT shuffle on almost a daily basis. Suspiciously, Google's analytics tools' data has been stuck on the 7th or 8th of February for DAYS now, and Google is refusing to give administrators fresh data. This makes me think a larger scale shuffle is happening and they want a blackout of telemetry until its finished. Something they would only do for a major change.

Webmaster has no info since the 7th. On the support forums google is saying 'its a known issue'.

Known issue could mean bug... or it could mean they're aware and are doing it for a reason. The fact that it coincides with this large "update" seems convenient to say the least.

Truth is that e-commerce is where the money it at on the Internet. End of story. So if this update IS aimed at that then it will be a big deal.

I saw many changes in the serps too. Still changing a lot. Fortunately its positive for me.

Oddly enough I'm seeing mostly positive as well... but overall traffic has dipped to spite the fact that I'm seeing SERP increases that SHOULD traditionally bring traffic increases. Not sure what to make of that.

After checking other forums, it seems that it may be e-commerce related. Quite a few people are reporting a decrease in traffic (Myself included) and increase in conversions.

I would not rule out an algo change or update, but this seems new.

EDIT:

Some sites of mine have a 50% decrease in traffic. But this is shuffling on a daily basis. Yesterday and today have been my worst two days so far.

I also see many, many changes in serps and as well issues with analytics and webmaster tools...

actually somebody mentioned last couple of weeks under goo gle dancing

My traffic was drop for past 3 days but today it is back again.

Phew, thought it was just me who was having problems with Google analytics, makes sense now. No crazy fluctuations to report like others are experiencing, just the usual.

I have two sites bouncing from two to nothing every few hours. One of the sites holds very good positions for an inner page, the inner page does not move, but the domain whacks back and forth.

I have a main keyword bouncing from spot #11 to #8 and back since a week or so. Other than that nothing unusual.

Yeap Experienced the same. One of my site shown a good positive hike.

Well I'm still seeing weird shit. Still no large overall SERP losses, but traffic is STILL down enough to be noticed.

At this point I am fairly certain that there is a major update. I am beginning to be suspicious that it MAY be on-site based. I can't be sure yet, but I will begin to tinker soon to confirm this if we don't see a stabilization.

Analytics, webmaster tools, everything.... Including adsense stats... For me even serps are dancing like crazy...

Actually i have find some up and down in serp but I don't know about Google update...
