    Hi Guys,

I am new to adwords and am having major difficulties trying to set up an image ad campaign. For whatever reason they keep saying to me that my destination url and my display url are not the same. As an affiliate linking to a real website they aren't going to be the same...

Is there a way to fix this? I tried speaking to Google adwords but they don't seem to be much help tbh. I get those canned response which mean nothing to me because you have to have a degree in analytics or whatever to know what they are talking about.

    Please help.

You are too inexperienced for adwords. G banned direct linking ages ago. Besides direct linking, they don't even allow one page affiliate landing pages anymore. Adwords was a tough game to play, now it's tougher than ever with these new rules.

I suggest you go to your local bookstore and buy an adwords book (must be 2010 edition). Read everything, and take it from there. It's almost impossible for you to survive with the current knowledge you have. You'll end up getting banned or burning all your money, or even both. The worst would be getting banned because it's a pain in the arse to get another account once you are banned. You will have to jump through a lot of hoops to make it work.
