    Hi,

    I have some blogs with adsense on it. Sometimes I write under a pseudonym to protect my privacy, on other blogs I use my real name. This is no problem because I always stay polite. Now I have a blog with some articles criticizing politics (still polite) and some religious ideas. Here the danger starts.
    Ad sense ad a piece of code to every page where they are putting advertisement on.

    you'll find code like:
    HTML:
    google_ad_client = "770291455074433";
    (this is a fictive code).
    If you google on the code here above you'll find a list with all sites using the same adsense code.
    You know all those sites belong to the same publisher.
    If one of the sites has your real name mentioned, you can say bye to your anonymity. This can lead to serious problems as loosing your job or people stalking you (or worse).

    Does somebody has an idea if it's possible to prevent that the adsense code is indexed by the search engines? Or make sure the adsense code is scrambled or so ...

    (the same problem goes with google analytics).

    I don't think that is the point he is trying to pass, rather if some one in particular wants to target you for one of your sites that is one way they could use to track you which is what I believe he is trying to say.

    Since the same id would be present on related pages, but that would only apply to find people or business that have their data available within the sites and/or the domain whois.

    I´ve often wondered about this too. It´s almost too easy for nosy competitors to figure out what other sites you have when using the same adsense account.

    In Analytics you can create a new account with the same main analytics account. Adsense should be like this too so other sites remain anonymous.

    Would too appreciate it, if anyone knows of a workaround for this (and not having to create a new adsense account for each site).

    Can you have more than one adsense account ? Isn't it against TOS ?
