Hi, i'm running an online casino niche review site, i have more than 100contents in the website.

My website stop receiving Goglee adwords ads from December 2023, i then decided to take down the ads.txt from my website to focus on social media and growing my organic taffic.

Until today i received an email informing 'Google ad serving has been restricted on your site', here's the email i received

Dear Partner,

We’ve found a high volume of restrictions on your site (freecreditrm.com), which is not in compliance with the AdSense program policies. As a result, Google has restricted all ad serving on this site.

The following issues were found on your site:

"Online gambling":
Certain sources of advertising are restricted from appearing on content that:

enables users to participate in online, real-money gambling or any internet-based game where money or other items of value are paid or wagered in exchange for the opportunity to win real money or prizes based on the outcome of the game.

Would like to humbly ask if this action will affect my overall SEO ranking or site performance ?

No, it won't affect your SEO. In theory, if you remove the affected content and pages, ad serving would be restored.

Adsense team and search team are not the same and I doubt they share data. Furthermore, it makes no sense deranking a website because it contains casino content when in reality, casino sites themselves actually rank.

Thank you for your advice , i was informed that i have 'high volume' of restriction on my site , so i assume the team mean all, since my website is a pure casino review site.

it that possible that they are restricted me because this industry is not allow in the country which i receive most of the traffic from ( >80%) ?

Removing ads from your website should not directly affect your overall SEO ranking or site performance. However, it may impact your revenue from advertising
yes i understand about that , i would shift the focus to sustain the business with affiliate instead , providing that my SEO performance wouldn't affected by the restriction from adsense.

the reason i'm worrying about is, i encounter the same from my heylink account , my traffic is drooping from 600+ daily to < 20 daily.

I don't think they're restricting because of the country. But rather due to Google's rules. I'm even surprised you're able to use Adsense on a casino website.
