Google adds 'conversational attributes' to Merchant Centre data feeds

Want your ecom products appearing as the result of conversational search queries in AI systems? Well, last week Google added new attributes to the product feeds you can upload there: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/17085370

Stuff like [question_and_answer] will let you provide FAQs about your products which could help sway AI's favour depending on what the user is looking for, and [related_product] will let you link related inventory manually. It's too early to see if these have any effect, but it's more stuff for ecom marketers to optimise for!

I bet affiliate sites could use and benefits from this as well.

Yeah especially with how much of the data from aff feeds can be recycled and bulked out with AI.
