OK so I have a 13-year-old daughter. She had the previous generation Nano.

She's a good girl, doesn't abuse the privilege too much, so when she cracked the screen after a year and asked me to buy her a used on on eBay for $90 and she'd pay me back, I hopped online and found the cool little new one, the one with the touch screen. It was 50% more but I thought I would surprise her and make her happy.

Now, I seriously misunderestimated my girl, she doesn't want to show off, she just wants to have something that WORKS, and the old model has a camera and a thumbwheel and she knows how to use it, the new one is weird and foreign.

So she told me I bought the wrong thing, which hurt my feelings, so I told her to go to bed, but later apologized. I flashed back to when my dad bought me a little Sony Watchman black & white TV and I instantly broke the telescoping antenna and told him he shouldn't have bought it for me. What a little brat I was...

So I figured since I can't send it back I would trade it.

Just got a text and the guy wants to trade a "mint" HTC Hero for the thing. Can I easily crack this to make it work with MetroPCS or, if not, then AT&T?

    Thanks.

To answer your question about trading it, hell yeah it's worth it. Android phones rule.

Ah, cool, I had never heard of it before, I will hit that for sure.

I am sure there are some very nice people on craigslist with no phone numbers in their ads who will be happy to crack my phone!
