I can't take credit for this strategy as I first came across it from Kim Roach. Visit rssmix.com and aggregate ALL of your RSS feeds...everything from Digg,Jumptags,Stumble upon,YouTube, all of your websites, blogs, ezine articles,go articles, etc, etc. Once aggregated, submit your RSS feed to a shed load of RSS aggregation services (google it). I did this 3 weeks ago and did another one yesterday on a whole new set of websites and I have started to see my new sites pages being indexed already (much quicker so than they normally would) and my rankings have increased for a couple of my keywords. Only early days but the results are very encouraging and for a 5 minute piece of work, well worth the effort.
