Where are good places to get links after Penguin 2.0? I have got quite a lot (though nofollow) from Pinterest. Are there any other sites like it or places where you can get a direct link credit for posting lots of photos? Houzz is a waste of space in that regard I have just discovered! I have quite a lot of unique product images so that type of linking is quite good but are there any others that don't involve spamming?

Any ideas please? Not just images but any type of legitimate link building.

It would help if you could provide more information on what niche/industry this site is regarding...

Why don't you try to create an "asset". A "linkable asset". Find top pages in your niche that have gotten a lot of links or go to Topsy or Google trends. Create a better resource (design, tips, insights, etc.).
