I have started finding comment-able pages. Some are auto=approve and some are approved my admins...
On sites which approve comments manually one can not put links in the comment itself.
What i want to ask is, In auto-approve pages, a comment in which there are 5 or x links is good or spammy and ignored?
What should i do? simply comment and add a single link in that? or put all the links in one comment?

    Question 2.
How do you compare do=follow and no=follow links? Is it worth it to spend time in commenting to get a no-follow link?

On an auto approve blog, you use one site in the website field, keyword on the name field and the comment box is pretty much self explanatory. I don't recommend adding a link on there because not all blogs accept HTML.

As for question 2, I wouldn't bother with that since it wouldn't be natural if you were only after one type of link. My best advice I can give you is to to get as many links as you can from DIFFERENT sources and be sure to randomize your linking structure. The goal here is to look natural in google's eyes and to leave no footprints or have a particular pattern when it comes to executing your backlinking campaign.

    Cheers.

    Thanx for your reply,
I was talking about the links in the comment box, since it is auto-approved we can freely put links in the comment.
e.g= I write a comment reply "Thanks for this very interesting article. I have really enjoyed reading it.
Should i put all links(same site) in one comment or one link in one comment?
Some pages also dont have the option of URL so you have to put links in the comment.

If you can post or spam the comments, so can others. I would make sure that I looked for quality not quantity.

That will give you the best opportunity to get good link juice.

I use to take every link I could get and now I am picky. I find that my sites with higher quality and much...much lower link count, out rank many sites with more links.

    I hope that helps.

The best luck I ever had was doing the following:
    * Making relatively intelligent and thoughtful comments
    * on well-moderated sites (mine were on .edu/.gov)
    * with my links in the "website" field (exactly where the mods want them to go)
    * and making my name include the keywords I was ranking for (ie. Dan the <keyword> guy)

It is much more sustainable. I did a site like this just over a year ago and it's still at #1 for a relatively competitive keyword (About 80% on the G external keyword tool) without any SEO since the initial push. It just stays there because mods aren't removing my links.

On top of it all, you get to enjoy spammer-free link juice (because spammers don't last long on well moderated sites). It doesn't even take much time after some practice. I may have spent 5 hours on that site initially, but that pales in comparison to the constant maintenance I would have needed to do if my links were being pulled.

Note that I was doing this for a fairly non-spammy keyword (not rolex or viagra, something that non-spammers could genuinely get enthusiastic about), and, as always, your mileage may vary.

EDIT: All of the links I used were no-follow

    Thanx for sharing experience....
Site on which i was posting, i found about 15 pr2-pr5 links and there is no field for website,, and its auto approves so you have to put links in the comment field...
The question is how many.... Preferably only one i think... but other commenters have nuked comments with links......

And i should not let go a Pr4 page with 200 comments for the reason that it is spammed...

Rather focus on quality comments and low OBL sites to get more link juice.

Put separate links in the separate comments. If you put all of them in one comment the comment will not do it and it will not look good. Make it natural looking and then you stand a better chance of approval.
