good ope source social networking engine

hello i will be attending a digital arts school soon and as we all know networking is a must in any field. well in order to master this i am going to attempt to make a social networking site for current and former students of my school. which will hopefully make me a pretty popular person around campus. what open source engine would be good for this. i prefer asp but can deal with php too. hear are some features i would like

file uploading and sharing
song and video uploading and sharing
blog
friend adding
private messaging
personal profile for users

I'd have to suggest Elgg and Lovdbyless. You could easily put xoops/yogurt also in that list.

Dolphin would be there if it wasn't for the adware you have to pay for nag removal.

thanks i decided to go with xoops with the yogurt module it seemed to be the easiest to install on my server
