I have already done fiverr, twitter, facebook, odesk and right now I am working on craigslist. I haven't had any luck with any of these and I feel like I am missing out on some? Or need to look else? I am also working on some boards but haven't heard anything back. For those wondering it is in the social media/virtual assistance niche

If you do not meet the requirements for a certain something, you do not get certain something you want. In your case, you cannot advertise your services here until you meet the requirements. Trying to dodge the rules here will not get you what you are looking for. There is plenty of information floating around the forum.

if you are going to use Linkedin... here is a sneaky way to grow your contacts list FAST:

use a email scraper software, collect as many emails as you possibly can, and then import those emails into your Hotmail account... next, import your contacts from Hotmail into LinkedIn... and tatata you have a HUGE group of LinkedIn contacts

this actually also works for Twitter and FB, but with FB you have to be carefull and only import small amounts of new contacts per day

    cheers

Craigslist is a good place to gather projects from. However, competition is tighter in that place. LinkedIn, for me, is a safer site to get internet marketing projects from. If you want to get a project, make sure that you work on making a good cover letter and a resume.

You can also try out membership.staff.com

It is for full time remote workers. There is no percentage charge from what the employers are paying the staff unlike oDesk and Elance.
