    Well, you are right. Not exaclty, but judging by the tone of the decision, it does seem that google now regrets their decision to put G+ forcefully into youtube, or does it seem different to you?

    Of course they regret as they noticed less people commenting on videos. People like to see their comment on the top after posting, not at bottom or lost somewhere in the comment box. But YT is no giving the old way back as it was a paradise for spamming.

    As they are updating it now, this will end into harder for marketers to post live links.
