here is another one of my ridiculous ideas

i was on this site the other day, can't remember what it was.
but every time i went to another page on the site, it looked like it had finished loading, and when i went to click on something, it was actualyl still loading and the content moved, so i clicked on the wrong thing

im sure you have all had this on a site

i only noticed because it did this on more than half the pages on the site. obviously this was just because the site was still loading, and im thinking it was build old school HTML with tables and not CSS, and this often happens with tables, as the content loads (especially dynamic content) the tables change size with the content. This happens if the row or column is not given absolute size, but a percentage instead, so until it has loaded the content, it doesnt know what size to be. In CSS this isn't as bad because the entire page will load faster because there is less scripting on the actual page.

i was thinking. this would take a lot of work and trial and error, but you could make a page where there is something that the user is drawn to click upon (a big picture saying click here), and in the milliseconds before they click, the site finishes loading and where the picture was is now some adsens3 ads, so they click on those instead by mistake

this obviously wouldn't work for every visitor because of tons of things; connection speed, browser etc... but if you found the sort of average, and made the page to suit that, you could get a lot of accidental clicks

dont think it would be worth the work, but just a thought :)
