Electroneum for the short term, Sumokoin for long.

Electroneum has great optics, and a good plan to get as many eyeballs at it very quickly through a mobile miner, which they pad with pre-mined coins to get as much consumer and general public awareness. This is likely to happen in a few months, and I suspect Electroneum is planning to use this uptick in value to finance tech development (something they appear weak in).

Sumokoin is a young coin, and a fork of Monero. So far they seem to be very technically competent and have quickly created an Android wallet. They haven't missed a deadline in their clearly laid out roadmap and have had little technical issues in the way. In time to come they may rival Monero, but for now they supplement the coin.

Sumokoin did not add any value as a fork at all. The roadmap just states the introduction of wallets etc (forked).
They pre-mined a hefty precentage, and seems techy but are really simple tbh.

The true value is in Monero and the actual community. There are different forks planned coming this way as well.

I'm buying and HODLing Storm. Storm Token is the cryptocurrency for a gamified micro-task system. So far they have an App on Google Play and they will be releasing more features. People can perform micro-tasks like watching videos and playing games to earn cryptocurrency. The advisors are all tech heavy weights and the idea sounds great time.

This coin answers the "what's in it for me?" question for people who are already playing games etc.

NEBLIO is going crazy — I regret not picking when spy made reconmendations.

Damn - Got bunch IOTA holding for long . We see how best this would . But not really happy as the situation unfolds rn

You might have gotten lucky, Neblio had just finished it's correction when the whole of crypto started to lose value and neblio started to fall again. This 'super correction' is going to be 25-30% plus however much the market as a whole falls. I don't see there being a better chance to buy for a long time, in fact any coins/tokens that were already correcting before the overall crypo marketcap started to fall would be a good bet to make some good gains in the coming week.

How soon do you expect a few months old coin to add value? That claim that they want to supplement Monero is a vision that's not yet proven, but it can't reasonably be debunked yet.

In any case, I wasn't raising Sumokoin against Monero. I value Monero more than Sumokoin and it is a mature coin to use. The question and thread relates to which coin to HODL, and Sumokoin has good potential as a young coin, since it takes after Monero's developments and starts afresh with a minimum ringsize of 12.

Many other successful coins were pre-mined as well. It doesn't make it a shitcoin. And if it did, it would at least get pumped first.

What strikes me is this:
  • About 10% (~8.8mil) was premined to reserve for future development.
  • 98% of the pre-mined coins are time-locked in publicly viewable wallets to be released over the next several years.
Sumokoin is definitely trying to be the next Monero. Whether it can be more than that, it's up to them and how they use the pre-mined coins to fund not just their own development, but the communities. Monero does this through that FFS donations for community projects. If Sumokoin is inspired by Monero, it should do the same.

What I like about Sumokoin is Whether it is simple tech or not is subjective, but I monitor the cleaniness of code, the number of bugs and the way they handle their announcements and lay their roadmap.

Any info on when wanchain is going to be available to trade? I'm guessing they'll probably put it straight on a large exchange and i don't want to spot it 5 hours later.
Yeah the rumour is they will go straight to binance on the 24th of Jan
