I have been using the Plantronics 650 Multimedia USB headset with a speech recognition software and it's great.

I am not in UK but I checked and it's available in your country.

It rather depends on your voice than on software.

Headsets have come a long way over the last 5 years, provided you aren't buying some no name on ebay for $3 most are very good quality. Plantronics has models for $10 that have just as good a sound quality and noise cancellation as their more expensive headsets.

Thanks folks. I ended up getting a Sennheiser 131, seems good for Dragon.
