I have 30 instagram accounts and want to monetize them all in a safe way since I want to keep them around for a long time. I'm not doing OGADS or any network, but instead am linking to an online store with through affiliate links.

I have done some research into this, and what I'm thinking I need is something like iframe to show actual users the affiliate link button on my pre-lander and show the crawlers a "safe" page. That, or just a sort of redirect for actual users which takes them directly to the website and crawlers stay on a "safe" page.

If anyone is currently doing something like this and wants to talk more, feel free to pm me or comment on this thread.

    What cloaker would you recommend?

This is what you need. Iframing the url, etc won't help. Instagram crawlers get all the links in the page and if you have any that isn't "good", say goodbye to your account.

Other than the 200$ a month programs, are there any out there that do this well?

I don't know, I have my own cloaker. Try to hire someone to do it for you, it isn't that hard.

Unfortunately no. The reason good cloakers cost $$ is because your IG and FB accounts will cost even more $ if you get caught and lose them.

Instead of cloakers you can use a pre-lander to password protect the target url, by showing the usual "Prove you're a human, enter the following..." thingy for instance. Crawlers won't be able to get to the affiliate site, at the same time you'll lose a few visitors for sure, but i guess if they aren't willing to type in a few characters to get to your content, they weren't really interested in the first place and you might even be able to raise the conversion rate this way. :)

    A simple "1 + 1 = ?" will do ;) They don't need to waste more than 1-2 seconds.

Even if you use cloaker, won't redirection raise a red flag with crawlers

All good man. bit.ly is the most popular link shortener, so it's no surprise that with thousands of BHW users shortening with it, a couple dozen are bound to blame it. Large sample sizes tend toward producing a small subset of arbitrary results with every possible combination of properties; no matter what the tool, product, service, offer, or network in question is.

This is the reason there's a thread posted here every other week claiming that CPALead is a scam, that Instagram marketing is dead, or that PBN's "don't work". It's not because any of those things are true. It's because there's a bunch of people doing or using the things in question and statistically, some of them are going to get bad results because of something completely unrelated and wrongly blame the said methods or networks.

You won't redirect. The content is served from the back-end of your site.

Well technically a 301 would be a redirect, wouldn't it?

    A 301 is a redirect. Yes.

But if different content is served from the back-end of your site, there is no redirect. Two entirely different pages are served based on the cloaker's detection.

It depends on where the link redirects to. The thing is IG can detect where the link redirects, so as long as you follow the IG ToS, everything would be fine. But most people around here use shortlink to mask their aff link or OGads landing page, that won't work.

Oh, I get it. Never thought of doing it that way. I'd just 301 to CNN, Huffpost, etc. for clean page.
