In the last week, I have had 1000+ unique visits. I still have not had even one conversions on clickbank, comission junction, or amazon associates. I've made maybe $5 on adsense, but that's it. Am i doing something wrong, or does it just take a little bit of patience?

    the site is getyourgolfstuff.com

    thanks

Did you have those 1k a day or the whole week? If its your total UV's, everything is fine I would say :)

Hard to say you design or content may suck thus no conversions. Give it some more time and see

Great looking site by the way... But maybe too great looking. My eyes don't know where to look and the positioning of the ads doesn't appear optimised for clicks. My advice is to play around with the positioning of the adverts and content and track conversions. It often takes month of testing to identify what layout gets the biggest click through rate. More clicks = more sales. Keep trying :)

1,000 Visitors per week, no conversions, where are those visitors coming from, what is the percent that came from BHW? Maybe they are not targeted visitors to what your adds show. archive.org shows that your domain used to be parked domain 1/28/2011 http://web.archive.org/web/20110128165748/http://getyourgolfstuff.com/ Alexa shows 2,040,460 rank and 100% of traffic came to getyourgolfstuff.com and no subpages, Alexa is not showing any single keyword that referred traffic to your website which means that great majority of visitors came to your website by directly typing your website's URL in the browser.

My advise would be to build quality backlinks so that you will start getting traffic coming from targeted keywords. But I really like your design.

according to google analytics, 35% of my traffic is google/organic. I know that is still not very high, but i'm not really sure why I am getting so much traffic directly from the browser

    content hmmm..

best to redesign your site and used something like light blue and white...
blue and white attract more clicks on ads..
    see fb and google designs...

Don't get me wrong dude. The font, design and ad positioning are not good. Implement what good websites do to increase your conversion.

Learn on how to drive get targeted traffic to your website.

Don't forget to build a list.

    suggestion to increase conversion:
    1. make the menu larger.
    2. Fix the menu to the top so that when you scroll down the header is always there and doesn't disappear.
    3. Place internal links on your content to specific items you are selling through amazon to get more interest. (This also increase back links :) )

that is all i could think of after a cursory glance. Hope that helps

Try adsense or cpa related offers, that should bring some money instantly.
