Gonna build my own network

Getting links in the adult niche is just way to hard starting off. No one will swap with a low-powered domain and the prices that most are asking for shit domains is not worth it at all.

As much as id prefer not to, i think the only real option is for me to build my own network

I have a basic understanding of PBNs, here is my thought process, please correct me if I'm wrong.

There is two types of domains out there i see.

One is a high powered domain with many RD. These run lots of risks as there has been so many backlinks applied to them that they could be spammed out or contain lots of links that the tools may not show. Usually these are very spammy or else very expensive.

The 2nd type which I'm very interested in and i have purchased many already for 301 which now i don't want to do on this site... but these are domains which show as basically 0 on the metrics and onces that pass under everyone's radar. They are domains with many only 2,3 or 4 RD but those RD are from major sources like BBC, Forbes, NYT... They can be bought as normal prices like $10

I bought 35 of these but one my last site i had 35 301 and i was just waiting for it to go bang.

Whats the suggestions here? Which one is a better method

I was told that you shouldn't do too many 301 redirects to your website. I'm not sure how true this is because I think if they are done correctly, you could see some serious success with 301 redirects. Most people I've talked to just redirect the domain name but redirecting a domain is much more complicated than just a domain redirection.
