I'm going to Switzerland tomorrow for a week with my dad and brother and am wondering what to expect. I've been to Europe before, but only when I was much younger.

Specifically I'll be in Interlaken and will most likely have a lot of time to myself with my brother.

Does anyone live in Switzerland or has been to Interlaken before? Any good suggestions of what to do while we're there?

I'm pretty excited and it should be a great trip. I live in Arizona so I figure it'll be a little different. Going from 105 degrees and sunny to about 70 and raining. Nice :D

I'm not much of a museums person, but other than that I love doing all different types of things. I like a lot of outdoor things and I'm sure there's a ton of stuff to do like that. I've looked at all of the touristy things online, but I'm just wondering if people have been there and they specifically liked something.

I have never been to interlaken myself before although it is not so far from me, around 100 miles.

Near interlaken there a quite a few mountains where you can rock climb, hike and if you are willing to travel around 60 miles then you can ski as there is a gletsjer nearby where you can ski whole year around. ( i really suggest this if you know how to ski, it's an awesome place )

If I want some swiss cheese over there do I ask for "swiss cheese" or just "cheese"??

Probably my biggest dilemma right there
