Ok.. So maybe this isn't the perfect forum for this question.

I use Firefox for so many thing IM related and for the last 2 days I can't get it to launch. I hit the Foxfire icon, my computer things about it, and then nothing.

It will open in safe mode.

    I feel like I have tried EVERYTHING! E V E R Y T H I N G!

Foxfire forum isn't helping me an ounce. I really don't want to take it to a "computer guy" to pay to get this fixed, but i really need my foxfire!

Any thoughts? PLEASE, I am desparate!

Describe what happens, post some screenshots...

Maybe then we are able to help you.

How about sobering up first then remove all instance of "Foxfire" and installing "Firefox" via this link:

    Code:
    http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

I suppose you mean Firefox. It's a good idea to reinstall it whenever it doesn't work. I do that often :)
Also removing firefox data files might help, but i'm not sure how to do it in windows. In linux based systems it's stored in ~/.mozilla or something similar.

And don't pull your hair out, it won't help a bit :D

Yes, firefox is what I meant. And I did this already. I think I am going to throw in the towel and use Chrome. : (

does it fail straight away or d you get to choose a profile? if you get to choose it could be a corrupted profile , try making a new one.

you could also try the latest beta, just install it to a different folder not your normal firefox folder ie firefoxbeta and create a new icon that points to it

Assuming you're on a PC, you must first check your computer for malware with a new anitvirus and afterwards check your computer for malware with a different program, like malware bytes antimalware. Then Run something like Spybot Search & destroy and use some PC tools suite to check for registry errors, missing files etc.

    Malware, malware everywhere... :S

Seriously, follow my advice, it helps most of the time :).
