Going to open BST - Whats the right way to do this by BHW rules?

Just a quick one, going to open a BST soon for a new product i have made. I dont want to break any rules here so can anyone with experience in opening a BST give me a little advice please (i dont know what id do without bhw so i dont wana risk a ban!)

I understand the process for opening a bst getting it reviewed and approved by mods / admins etc etc.

What i really want to know is how i go about advertising for beta testers - obviously being bhw the rules are very strict on self promotion (and rightly so).

Is it ok for me to advertise for beta testers before applying for a bst? Or do i need to pay / get approval before i can ask for beta testers? (not sure how this would work as the admins would be reviewing it in a beta stage if i needed to pay first - im happy with either or both... just wana keep on the right side of the powers that be! )

Definitely, hook a few up with a beta test and once your online if all goes well there you'll have your reviews after mod approval.

Letting people test out a service beforehand is actually a great way of boosting sales early. My advice though is to limit it to the Jr. VIP section.
