I have Scrapebox, fresh AA Lists, and a couple of moderately easy keywords.

I am stuck trying to decide between trackbacks and comments. The blogs I will be commenting upon are 100% do follow and very lightly spammed.

Which method is the most effective for search engine position and page rank?

If both were not an option and you could only use one method (trackbacks or comments), which would you use and why?

Build a link pyramid, use the blog spam for ranking your tier two properties.

Tier two properties linking to your money site.

A couple of weeks ago I would have said that comments work best as they always worked best for me.

However, with Panda ravaging the IM universe with complete impunity it's really tough to answer you question with any degree of certainty.

I guess I'd still go with comments but mostly out of habit and I don't know how Panda will see things.

First follow the above .....With scrapebox you don't need to choose do you?

blast one with comments and then another with trackbacks.

I didnt touch SB for a few months now. Changed on some sites the salescopy, metatags here and there and slowly but surely those sites are recovering and making money again.

Not saying this is what u should do, but personally i will not create xxxxxx shitty backlinks again in record time.

I choose now quality over quantity.

This is what I noticed with my sites as well. They rank better if I get quality links rather than blast it with scrapebox.

I don't think SB is worth anything since the last Panda update.

I would agree that scrapebox seems to be a lot less effective these days. In fact, I dare say that I have gotten more results with a couple on topic articles at one web 2.0 site than I have with the blast I purchased a couple months ago.

I think I will hit all of my web 2.0 and high PR forum posts with a blast for my money sites, and use SB on a couple test sites.

I am using commenting only, as I am a bit wary of trackbacks right now. I read that they have lost almost all of their effectiveness. I can no longer find the link. Does anyone have an opinion on this?
