this helps to put a face on the scams.

even tho the white-collar criminals are just as bad as, if not worse than, the street thugs who lift your wallet. they usually get off easier due to the (mistaken) idea that because no force/violence was used, their crimes are somehow not as severe or as devastating to their victims. :beerglass

watch this video and see if you feel the same...

perhaps white collars are even worst, but you just can't be so stupid to commend all of your life savings to one person/one investment, even if you totally trust in this person, shit happens, even if this person don't want to screw you over...

that's what i was thinking, too. putting all your cash into *one* investment is totally insane. would've been smarter to split it into 2 or 3 units and go with different investors.

don't put all your nest eggs into one basket!

Sorry, i just dont care if someone loses 700K in financial manipulations.

Likely it was not earned at a $4/hr job as most ppl do i know.

He lost his 10K of life earnings? shit that was a hard life, and sucks at the end.

He lost his 700K? Well, next life get financially EDUCATED before investing in stocks/bonds//etc.

Anyway... almost all those ppl expected the biiig biiig return... yes, your own greed focked you up.... Sorry old pal, shit happens.

( if you were out of food, and shelter, i would be the first one to send you a bit of relief , but lost 700k investment? who cares?)

Yeah that's a tough blow. Like you guys are saying - you better diversify! Also, you should be in charge of your own investments - not just letting someone take care of them for you.

I can't believe a man is robbed of 700k in that easy way.

he committed the cardinal sin of thinking someone would make him rich.

interestingly enough, this is the same mistake that thousands of newbies make when they buy into ads that read, 'we do all of the work for you'. :beerglass
