I started an AI OFM business earlier this year and will be documenting my progress here.

For any of you wondering what in the hell AI OFM is — it’s simply only fans management but with AI models.

Why am I making this thread?

- I enjoy writing about my journey as a form of therapy!
- I enjoy helping others (hope to share some value)
- I’d like to connect with others on a similar journey - the AI OFM community is prettty tiny at the moment

Goals:
- in 6 months I expect to be at $10k/month
- 12 months from now $20k/month
- and once I’m confident in my ability to monetize models, I will scale horizontally so I can build towards the $100k+/month goal

Background:
At this point I’ve known about OFM for over a year, and have been dabbling in it for close to a year. Last November was when I fully committed to the idea of OFM and started growing babe pages. And then maybe February or March was when I decided to focus on monetizing with AI OFM.

I did talk extensively about these earlier stages in another journey thread which I’ll link below. I could have continued posting there but I since I’m hyper-focused on AI OFM I felt it was important to start a new thread for that purpose. Old thread: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/failed-agency-owner-starts-an-onlyfans-management-agency.1541101/

My AI OFM Journey so far:
So I got started back in February and it’s been extremely slow of a start for a multitude of reasons. Ultimately, I chose to go the route of having someone else design and generate images for my AI model. And I wasted probably two months waiting on a couple different designers to get me results they promised. I made the mistake of putting all my eggs in one basket so to speak and both of the designers failed to produce anything worth using. That ultimately lit a fire under my ass and I hired maybe 4 more AI designers all at once for a test project. And it was only then that I found someone who could deliver exactly what I needed.

Model #1
From there I finally launched my first AI girl. And I found success on instagram pretty quickly doing flash trends. Of 40 accounts launched, about 75% of them went semi-viral (tens of thousands of views per video on average, sometimes hundreds). That plus all the traffic from my other babe pages, I was generating a lot of clicks to Fanvue (it’s like onlyfans but AI friendly)….

The only problem is that all those clicks were coming in and the conversion (to free trial subs) was extremely low. This was extremely disheartening. And I heavily considered switching to a real girl with onlyfans - simply because in past tests that I ran I was getting paid subs to OF without even trying.

So I decided to add in a conversion mechanism to see if by warming up those people first would help conversion later in the funnel. I did this by launching telegram and and email list.

In a small test both proved to increase the conversion ratio - however overall I felt I had too much traffic with too little results and I jumped ship...maybe prematurely?

I will mention I did make some money from subscription renewals, and also spent some time chatting with a subscriber making a few PPV sales so it wasn’t a complete “failure”. Lots of learning happening through it all.

Model #2
My first model wasn’t particularly curvy (she was pretty though). So I went the total opposite on the second model and made her busty and basically look like a supermodel. The very first day I launched her free trials, I got 11 free trial subs. This was a good sign. From there I began getting daily free trial subs coming in - granted they were all coming from Fanvue’s discovery feed (I had not launched her instagram pages yet). But the fact that she was getting so many subs was evidence enough that this model had a better organic appeal to the market.

One thing Ive noticed is that the subs don’t often reply to the welcome message, or any other messages for that matter - so I didn’t really emphasize chatting to them as I knew traffic should be my priority. This is a volume game to some extent in order to get people who will reply in the chats..

I started her ig pages and used my babe page network to slowly grow them. I should mention all the ig accounts for these AI models are using images as reels. So like stationary images posted as a reel. And some of them would get tracking 70k views, mostly 4k - 15k views.

I also had all the IG accounts from model #1 for the flash trends that were popping off. I tried to transition them to model #2 flash trends but none of them got the same traction they had with the first model. This shows how important the audience targeting is.

And right now I’m kindof at an “in-between” phase…I’m making some changes in her niche focus to resonate with a larger audience while also being a little more sexual in her marketing overall, I went from free trial to paid subscription, updated her bios etc..,re-hired my AI designer (I was generating photos myself for model #2 until now), and I’m preparing the new email sequence for her as well. Also planning to launch some burner IG babe pages to generate quick traffic and see how much I can boost her main account.

Overall the main focus is how can I increase traffic and conversion, while also expanding my time horizon on getting results.

My biggest challenges:
- Mindset: I’ve tested a lot of businesses and this one has by far been the hardest and longest to make any worthwhile money. Everything else I’ve tried I’ve been able to generate thousands fairly quickly. And this led to me really doubting myself and questioning if it’s too early to be in AI due to its limitations (lack of quality AI video, and low conversions). But the fact of the matter is that I made the decision a while back that this is the last business I’ll ever work on until it’s successful. It’s in these moments I used to chase the “women in the red dress” as Alex Hormozi calls it. But thankfully after years of doing just that, I finally learned my lesson. This is it!

Even though monetizing onlyfans may be easier today, that comes with its own set of problems. The model can leave at any time, you have to want to work with other people (which I don’t as an introvert), etc…

And what was really exciting for me recently that I almost forgot about was that AI video is nearing the point where we will be able to fully control our model and make viral videos on command. Video is one of the greatest constraints with AI models because video is more profitable to sell as PPVs (you can sell it at a higher price), and video obviously can perform really great on marketing channels like reels etc…So if I can just stick it out now in the hardest days, I’ll be rewarded when everything becomes much easier. And truth is KNOW I can succeed even in with the constraints I have been dealt. So as I said before, this is it for me!

Another challenge:
- Day job: When I fully committed to the OFM path last November I was at the height of my freelance career, making $10k/month working only a few hours a day. But that job died out around the same time I was really growing to hate that work. So the income was gone and I had no desire to chase more clients, especially knowing that my long-term purpose was AI OFM. I lived off savings for a few months and was hoping that this AI stuff would start making money sooner but it didn’t. And the pressure started increasing, and I knew that soon I’d run out of money. This was a few weeks ago and I decided it’s time to go back to Doordash/Uber eats for income. It was hard enough to accept that I had to go back to this type of work, but I also have more expenses than before and thus the need to work longer hours. All the while figuring out a way to build the AI OFM business in my free time. Thankfully I have a loyal VA who helps a lot, but this is a process I’m having to figure out. And even today as I write this, I wanted to work all day but this is my first day off from driving and I didn’t feel like I could do anything productive - just brain dead when I tried to think strategically about OFM. So that’s one full day “wasted”.

But anyways, I think I’ll wrap it up there. I’m going to push forward one day at a time and never stop. Let’s crush it and ill send another update soon

I mentioned earlier how I've chased shiny objects a lot. Soo many times in fact Im almost embarrased to say how many things times I've jumped around. I don't feel like actually digging deep into my mind to remember each one but it's likely 10+ things since 2019. Many of them were for short periods of time and some longer. Some no money, and some decent money.

That said, I was almost shocked (and comforted) by one of Hormozis youtube videos when he described the exact cycle that I have been repeating for years, like I could never describe myself. I guess my experience is a common one, which youd' think would be obvious as most people fail in business. But I never realized it because I've been so self-centered.

So I screenshot the graph from his video as I thought it's really helps visualize this cycle of chasing shiny objects - or stages as he calls it. (you can look up the video it's called "How to Win (At ANYTHING)" on his youtube.

I'm sharing this because I think simply gaining awareness of the cycles you are living within can teach you a lot. And if you havent been winning at business, its probably because you only make it to stage 3 "The valley of despair" which you MUST go through in any opportunity before you begin to gain confidence and success in whatever you do.

All successfull people have gone through this to some degree. And so if you just take a breath and accept it for what it is, then you will empower yourself to begin winning.

Also, Hormozi talks abou this cycle on a Macro level but I believe it also applies on a micro level. So when you are testing new methods and strategies within the business, you need to give it sufficient time, and avoid making kneejerk reactions when things dont work the first time. You're better off keeping the same test going longer while changing one small variable until you have validated a system. That patience may "slow you down" in the short term, but in theory accelerate you in the long-term when its time to scale.

How to make AI model
honestly its super easy. you can use something like genfluence ai, or you can get into stable diffusion (run diffusion is where i got my feet wet). If you've used chatgpt, generating an AI model is the same thing just with images. just find a tool and learn it or hire someone etc

All right, then how can we make money with this model.

How can people get motivated to invest money in it?

Good luck with your journey mate. Big goal, hope you can reach it

I know you are feeling bad to go back to Doordash/Uber kind of work but Don't be sad, confused or depressed, WORK HARD, We all are with you, Best of luck for this new beginning and I hope you will reach higher than previous ones :)

How can people get motivated to invest money in it?
when you want to succeed more than you want to breathe
Is the target of 10k in 6 months profit or revenue?
10k monthly revenue by the end of 6 months. Fanvue takes 20% of that, i have a VA so thats another few hundred, and some low cost softwares, eventually ill hire chatters and probably more va's as i scale

watch out with Fanvue, they don't like AI

they are AI friendly. they are not friendly if you steal content (deepfake). you verify with your own personal id and post as ai, i believe you're supposed to disclose in your profile bio that you are ai as well
