I have a couple sites on GoDaddy I have been growing. Not too concerned with them at this point, they are small (Under 50 pages).

I uploaded one site in March to their hosting. Changed Name Servers via GoDaddy to point to them.

I noticed my Adsense earnings were down a decent chunk so I checked my sites. My site on GoDaddy was down.

The name servers were changed to Host Gator.

I do not have, nor have I had, this site with Host Gator, EVER. The name servers had the last changed date as my update in March. What gives?

I switched them back, changed my password, ect. My password is over a dozen characters long with a secure email (Hushmail). I was not hacked because the name servers show a date from when they were updated. They were NEVER updated.

So,lesson to everyone, GoDaddy is pulling more crud on you. Amazing really. When I thought I could not dislike GoDaddy more.

Did you contact their support regarding the issue, since this issue is really very serious. Because if you site is loading from different server then it cause security issue to your website.

This looks like more like a security problem , i do not think that the hosting company has anything to do with your nameservers change.

You should change your domain registrant's client area password.

Not at first, no. Checked password, email, everything. I had multiple security vectors. When I switched the server back to GoDaddy the site loaded a blank wordpress page. Checked my files and it was still their. Weird as all can be.

If someone would have hacked the site, I would have the name server update date. That it what was weird.

I think they have many glitches, i lost a £50/day adsense domain that was set to auto renew that was somehow changed back to not renew and so it didn't get renewed. I still use godaddy as they are the cheapest
