domain is advertised as $5 buy it now.

At checkout, they add on a bunch of fees, now it's going to cost me something like $33

    holy fucking shit

is there any coupons that I could use? I looked around but all the coupons I found did not change the price. It says the coupon was applied successfully, but the price is the same as before.

what if I become an auctions member? will that change the price at all?

Make sure they do not add extra domains, just remove them at the checkout make sure the only thing that's in the cart is what you ordered, they always throw in a bunch of random things in.

Besides paying for the auctioned domain, you have to pay renewal also. Plus, if you want privacy, it's additional cost.

There are additional fees but that sounds more than typical.

Regardless you gotta pay to play with g-auctions.

Yeah GoDaddy. The annual renewal fee is unavoidable, but you shouldn't be using privacy these days. just make up fake info so they can't ID a footprint.

Have you done any experimenting around this? I know plenty of people are saying it, but I'm hoping someone will soon come out with the results of their trials to show a result, one way or the other... my personal opinion is that it doesn't really matter - but it too is based on pretty much nothing :p
