So, I've asked on this forum what the best places to buy a domain are and why and why not the perdophile daddy . sorry godaddy sounds so pedophile like...
ugh... I went for GoDaddy because I wanted a domain for 0.99$ to make some money with affiliate programs, but that was only a temporary solulion, hence a temporary domain and temporary registrar.

but hey I received a message to show them my ID?
First of all, I didn't use my real information BECAUSE goDaddy doesn't give free whois privacy thing.

What can I do about it? I have absolutely no intention of showing my passport or whatsoever to a corporation that ... doesn't ask for ID from everybody.

Well.. how do I solve this problem?

Unless you take the risk of producing some fake ID with photoshop and show that to them, there isn't much you can do. And since you used fake data when registering, even your own real passport wouldn't help you.

If you need PSD Templates to fake GoDaddy (and many more...), just PM me. Nobody can beat my offer!
But I couldn't disagree in using Namesilo, I'm also switching to them rapidly!

The reason I choose goDaddy is because of 0.99$ domain for a domain I would use to make a little bit cash for my bigger plans of affiliate marketing. and I am not doing anything illegal.
Namesilo domain costs 9$ .. i wouldn't care if I was successful with my Affiliate marketing. But i;ve made 0$ so far.. xD

and how much would that cost me xD I think opening a new domain on namesilo would be cheaper.
    if only I were rich...

but guys... my CC and registration are different people... CC is mine.. but registration is not and is from another countyr.

Sometimes you gotta pay to play. Spring for the whois guard or use a registrar with a higher price but with free whois guard.

Why not use your real info? If you're not doing anything illegal what have you got to hide?

FYI: Not trying to berrate you. I've learned from experience that short term thinking leads to long term problems and pass on that knowledge to others. That's why its better to properly setup projects from the start to avoid these kinds of problems.

Actually... I had absolutely no idea that it was so important to give your real information on a single domain registration. Because I read they are gonna contact me using that information if something would have had happened in the future. But that Domain was supposed to be working for less then a year, until I made enough money to buy a proper hosting and a domain for like 10 $ or what ever.
And no I am not doing anything illegal, Just trying this Clickbank Affiliate program with product reviews and guest bloging. If that doesn't work I'll probably jump to namesilo... i guess.
I have been working on that website and domain for like 10 hours xD and most of the times I was learning...(Wordpress hosting on byet)
    Oh Well..
I guess I can't solve this problem.... even if I fake a an ID for godaddy.. my bank and registration are still different...

you need to register your domain with a real billing information. (this will not show up when someone check your whois)
then they will ask you to provide your ID to confirm that the payment is legal. After the confirmation done, you can change your contact information to anything you want.
I always use Godaddy to reg my PBN domains, and I got no problem with that.

Leave it and buy a new domain on other registrar. Lots of registrar is giving $1 domains to first time customers.

Hey op, you can get $1 a month hosting until you make some money, Just make sure they have cpanel and don't limit your bandwidth and disk space too unreasonably.

I have used Abelohost, google them (based in Europe) they are quite good for the price. rarely have downtime, support is pretty good but slow at weekends, and you can have several websites on the one account all for $1 a month.

Once your site gets fairly busy (never gonna happen for me so I'm not worried lol) you will need to upgrade.

oh and I think they give you a free domain name as well,

    I don't believe you.. 1$a month. free domain> ;d

I tried to buy a 3.95$ a month host. but it's not 3.95$ (the cheapest I have found, so i have no idea which hosting company you mean)
it's not 3.95$ a month because you have to pay for a whole year upfront.
So I would have to pay 7.90$ for 1 month instead.

I mean the issue is like... if you want it cheap.. you have to pay upfront for a whole year, . currently I"m unable to do so .

EDIT: Abelohost. I don't see a free domain offering on the site for that price. but it looks nice . plus wordpress.
and just a question. How many visitors would a site need to use all 35GB bandwith? a site with pictures. no videos. you have any idea?
thanks , i will bookmark it . but I had no problems with byet freehosting yet.

you can use 1and1 for $1 domain also, they have a special discount for new customers and no ID/passport confirmation required. But i don't guarantee anything if you register in bulk :D
