    Hi friends,
My name is Saurabh Patil, I am from Mumbai, India. I am 3D artist having experience of 8+ years.

Till last month I used to work with one Animation agency but now I am jobless so I decided to work as freelancer in same profession(3D animation) and I joined Upwork.

There are too many projects for me but I don't know why I am not getting any revert on my submitted proposal.

    The reasons can be
    1. I am not having enough success rate
    2. No past job records on my profile

So I need some help from my BHW forum members.
Your good reviews will help me get more clients in future and it will also help me achieving my $10000 sales in coming 6 months.

I hope you all will support me.

I will keep you all updated about my journey.

I am also working on upwork.
What you can do is submit more and more proposal to get at least 1st reply always submit your past work in the attachment or a link from behance or your protfolio link.So that they can see it

First few ratings are very hard to get so bid cheap on more projects and deliver quality work

its hard when you dont know anything for the work you are applying for..
my tip is to find easy jobs these easy jobs are mostly low paying jobs but you will earn for it.
also ask for a 5star review after you finished this easy jobs..
you can call this working for just only for feedback but its good for the long run
you just need some review on upwork for you to get accepted to a lot of jobs.

Reputation is everything with portals such as Upwork. Unless you get some reputation, you will be treated like DIRT on their platform.

Go low, even to a point of working for free. Deliver quality stuff. Get some reputation. Then, BANK HARD down the road.

Also, Upwork is not the only platform. Try others as well. Upwork treats newcomers like strangers trespassing into someone's property. These days, they don't appreciate newcomers because they already have an endless chain of workers. Don't be surprised if they ban you for NO REASON. (I was banned for no reason)

But, not to worry, there are too many platforms to explore.

What you need to do is to post in HAF on here where you're wanting reviews.
    Cheapest way for you is to do this;

Get the people to post a very cheap job, you do the job and refund them the fee + pay them a small amount ( $5 ) for their review.

One thing to be careful of on Upwork ( so I have been told by providers on there ) if you apply for lots of jobs and get a very low acceptance rate, they also look at closing your account.

There's some threads on here talking about this.
