I've been a bit nervous about making my first post but here goes.....

Firstly, I have to say that BHW & its members blow my mind! I stumbled across this forum about 3 weeks ago and have been addicted since. I admit that after spending a couple of days here I was very tempted to just jump right in using some of the eWhore methods I had been reading about, with my own twist of course! But instead, I continued reading, taking written notes (I absorb info much quicker when I write it down) using the search button (*most useful!) and formulating my IM strategy/plan or whatever you want to call it.

Ok, so now I have set my goals in the form of my IM plan. I always use SMART objectives when setting myself goals because objectives that are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Results orientated, and Trackable) are more likely to be achieved, I like structure & processes what can I say! They are also a great way to keep track of what's working and also evaluating your progress throughout a project. I haven't read anything in the many, many threads I have been frequenting here about setting yourself SMART objectives or objectives in general and with the amount of info that's available in the BHW forum its very easy for a 'noob' to fall into the "info overload" category and just not know where to start. Its easy, pick a niche, set yourself some objectives and then research, research, research until you think you have a fair idea of what you need to do to get started, and just go for it.

Today I started my first blog in what I hope will be a very lucrative niche (at least for a while). The reason I've chosen blogs to start is that I think most of the hard work goes in at the beginning of the process and then they can pretty much go on auto-pilot once I know what I'm doing. I will be setting up another 9 by the end of this week and once I've established this income stream I will move onto setting up another project.

I have no php, html skills etc. but its amazing what you can do and learn when you focus your mind on something and with all the info and support that's available in this forum the only thing I think that can stand in my way is me.

So there you have it folks, I have taken action and got the cogs in motion. Small to start, but hey everyone's gotta start somewhere right!?!?!

I'm really looking forward to becoming an active member of BHW........you all rock!!!!
