This isn't a loser/clown inspired anti-Google thread, first off. What it is is that, for the first time, I've really checked out DuckDuckGo as a search engine: http://duckduckgo.com/. I must say, I'm very impressed. I spent about 6 hours (total) on this engine searching and have gotten objectively superior results to what Google now offers post-Penguin. The SERPS for this engine appear to be dynamic, as opposed to statically link-based like Google (much like Bing, actually: based on the aggregate of what people are searching for at any given moment). While similar to Bing, for a reason I know not what, I like DuckDuckGo better. I like this search engine on principle; and, for its results: I'm not tracked in any way, and yet I get relevant answers to my queries. I need not search beyond the first 10 results to get my question answered (in the event that I am asking a question); and, I need not go beyond the first 10 results (unless I choose to for further elaboration) to get well-sourced information. I am excited about DuckDuckGo on a lot of different levels, not the least of which is my penchant for rooting for the underdog that has a really good - and inovative - idea. Check out DuckDuckGo.
