Had a look at the go daddy site for an expired domain, is there anyway of telling quickly how old the domain is?

Or do you need to do individual research on each domain ??

If you just want to know about the number of years since the domain has been registered then this tool would work pretty well:

It asks to pay if you want to see the history records but it would tell you for free that how long its earliest record dates back.

i think the godaddy auctions page will tell you. if you click on the individual name you want to bid on it will list the age.

Use the filter search on the auction page to determine the domain age you are interested in buying.

You can limit the search result by age. Or if you download the rss feed, each <item..> also includes the age. There's also a few services like closeoutreports and findageddomains that sell reports based on the Godaddy expired domain auction.
