GMB google my business Seo building noob question

Hi. I started looking into google local seo i read somewhere today (can't find it now) an article about gmb seo. It stated to google your business find it and then hit share and this is how you get your link. When i go find my business on google it does not have the "share" button.

is there another way to find my link?

go to maps.google.com
type the name of the business, find it.. then you will see Share and link.
