After a rejection, has anyone successfully appealed again but specifically re-appealing to change it into a service-area-only profile?

Initially, we took a risk and appealed to reinstate our suspended Google Business Profile. Surprisingly, we had our appeal approved five times over the years. A key factor was that, despite being a home office, our GB Profile’s address was genuinely visited and operated from. Even after removing any temporary signage such as "Anna’s Private Tax Services" one time we had to provide video proof, and oddly enough, a little sign in the home window worked.

This unusual flag stemmed from another home address we had registered years ago. That address was never actively used or logged into, but when our suspension hit, Google’s AI likely detected these. It was simply another partner's address, but I suspect that logging into both accounts from the same IP (using two different Gmail accounts) years ago triggered it. To complicate matters, our last appeal submission included an insurance bill tied to a different home address, our fault.

Is it worth appealing again after a rejection?

Is it possible to ask to have it switch to a service area only profile as valid reason? We had 142 genuine reviews with client photos, and losing our profile had cut leads by 85%, tanking this venture. Amazingly, Google Business Profile kept calls coming even after we stopped ads years ago. It was the only amazingly free or passive lead generation (and passive income) and even without black hatting the system, 1 single honest listing kept things afloat despite it being a home address.

Now we still see other competitors still up and running but with the same address situations as ours...

Has anyone successfully appealed in a similar situation? Is it worth bothering?

you can change your business as a service area anytime. but you need to reverify again to do that
