Gmail Annoyance

So how come I'm limited at 100 emails a day when I don't use outlook or any pop or imac? All I use is my fire fox browser to reply to the emails. Shouldn't I be allowed 500 emails a day?

G has put lots of new restrictions nowadays, they even put sms confirmation when creating new accounts, crap!

Not sure why but sometimes they don't allow the account creation and sometimes you can get away without the sms confirmation.
