I am giving up promoting other peopls stuff

Made 12 pounds from one company all year and I promoted this certain gadget company like mad with vids

I have to get my own products made.

Also I have a suspicion that when people dont make nothing the affiliate company or some affiliate companies throw in a dollar commission to give em hope again keeping people come back dirty sneaky lot but thats just my genius observation

I don't think it's about giving up but about chaning what products you sell. This being said, I've changed products a few times and none do very well. So I'm going to continue changing the product until I find something that works. I can't change the traffic as I have a steady stream of it.

That's sad.... I did better with Adbrite on one of my sites when I started out. Not that it was all that long ago though.

Have you thought about maybe doing Amazon ? Combined with other ways to monitize the site ?
