    Hey guys,

I'm getting a new website built for a client, but they're obviously going to want to keep their old data, which includes customer personal information (names, addresses, etc.). I'll want the developer of the new site to migrate the old data, but I'm concerned by giving them access to this information I'll be breaking the Data Protection Act. Is there some way around this, such as making them sign a NDA or similar?

    Thanks! :)
