Whats the point of giving away huge autoapproved blog lists...

I understand that people are giving away these lists to contribute but what is the point.

Besides the huge amount of members here who will flood these sites with bs comments they also make these backlinks useless if not harmfull.

Can't there be a rule here that forbids these giveaways? It just doesnt make any point...

i disagree that these links will be "harmful". in worst case scenario they simply wont be counted, but they definitely wont have any negative impact on your site. i agree though that sharing these lists is a bad thing cause once these sites get spammed to death the authors often close comments or no longer make them autoapprove so the site is no longer good. people should just learn to find their own list of autoapproves, its not that hard. also, google only counts the first 100 links on a page, so once the page has been spammed to death, theres no point in commenting on it anymore

I don't mind if people do it but I don't use them. These lists get spammed to death. I prefer to use my own lists for Scrapebox or whatever.

I think people who share them think on short term, at least in the moment they share such lists, or just they don't care.

How about using those lists as blacklists? Just scrape always your own and filter them against the posted ones

giving away or selling/buying auto-approve list is not a good idea at all because they will get abused fast.

it is better to create your own fresh list to maximize potential of list.

I see there is not a whole lot of you very far past newbie. So the train of thought here is that the list that are put out for free are bad for the ones who use it.That in my opinion is bad thinking. You get what you pay for one thing but it is about how you use the list that makes its value.Someone suggested using the list to wipe the lists you scraped so as to get rid of over used links.Try to be creative before raising a fuss about people trying to help out others.

You can do more with those lists than just plug them in to Fast Poster like a newb.

    1. I take those lists, scrape the external links, scrape the externals' backlinks, blog analyze that result, and then spam the resulting massive list.
    2. Trim the auto-approve lists to root, scrape internal links, comment the result.
I know it's easy to complain about other people's contributions, but you could better spend that time being productive yourself.

Thanks for pointing this out for me, have downloaded millions of lists like this yet I havn't seen any results anywhere in any search engine. I notice some posts have well over 1000 comments so am thinking the chances of your link actually being clicked are very slim.

I rank pretty well mainly using free overspammed auto approve blog lists.

Seems to do just fine :)
