I'd think infolinks pays decent too. High ctrs since it's in-text. Easy to get into. Not sure what others think of it since I've seen nothing about it here.

they definitely do, people go clickcrazy for those and I'm surprised too since I usually avoid them. I had a bunchload of clicks a day but they were extremely low paying because I had it on an image blog with no real keywords.

Yeah I have heard of it too. If the "competition" shown in the Adword keytool tool is "low" that does not mean the keyword has low competition in the SERPs. Instead it just means that there are not many competitors to advertise for that particular keyword which means you probably will not get much ads for the keyword.
