Give a man a fish...

Hello, this is my first post here and let me first say that I am glad to I found this place. I have been reading these forums for a few weeks now and have to say that I'm both impressed and awed at some of the goings on here. The internet seems to have been made for marketing yet you really have to have your fish together to make any money at it. That is why I'm writing this post. I would like to find a master to apprentice under. This person would be able to teach me the technical side of internet marketing and in exchange I would do his/her dirty work. I have a computer (a few actually), I have fast internet (cable) and I have motivation and free time. You would get a return on your investment in the form of hard work. Need someone to set up 100 you tube accounts? well, It may take 7 hours but aside from anything illegal I would be willing. I am a 30 year old disabled veteran with 2 children and a wife. I recently went down to part time at my job and am currently going to school for a computer related degree. I don't want to be poor forever yet am completely willing to work very hard for my money. If this is something you are interested in then you can PM me and we can go from there. This is a legitimate offer in that I am offering my time for you time. I am creative and hard working. hey man check out the money making section of the forum, just lurk for a bit and soak up everything. I just started Internet Marketing 3 months ago and I now make a decent amount.

I have also been around here..only for a while.....and this place does offer soo much...

thetafmann, I know what everyone is going to tell you "you just need to search and browse the forum until you find a method to try. Then try it and stick to it, you will get it!"...

But I know how you are feeling. I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Fully willing to work at this, to learn and be taught. This site is full of methods, but unless you already have some background knowledge/training, it is very difficult to just "pick up" those things. What annoys me is many so-called guides and things on here have steps like "next just simply create your landing page/add some graphics/throw some adsense on there." What about the people who don't know how to do that?

Don't get me wrong, I love the guides and methods here (Some real geniuses in this forum), but I wish they were targeted at complete noobs, rather than noobs to BHW with experience in HTML and marketing.

Anyways, please do let me know if you find anyone willing to help you out. I'd really like the same help as you.

fatman I think you an go to the freelance section and see if you can sell your service. You said you could do youtube right? Sell
your skill that way you dont have to be taught you can make some money right away.

lol i used to be in that boat. but u will see that as u graduate and learn more that u will enjoy the methods and guides that dont make you read a bunch of stuff u already know, that just give u the gems u want to use

Yeah I totally see what you mean there, but it would be nice to see some guide that teaches the basic stuff so that noobs can learn easily. Doing so would probably lead to less pointless posts like "how can I earn $5000 a week easily, quickly, and with no work???" that so many people here hate. Instead you would see more noobs that have the skills they need and see more posts by former noobs saying "giving back to BHW: my twist on (insert method here)"

if you have any specific questions Id be happy to help. You are asking for something very broad right now, honestly when I first came to this forum people told me to figure it out on my own and I did for the most part. You learn very slowly, and still I dont know much, but I know enough to make some money. So my suggestion is like always pick a method and try it, if there is a part of it you dont understand, just ask. There are plenty of people here who love to help. So if I can answer any specific questions, Id be more than happy to.

Not to be mean or anything. Here are some of my honest opinion.

I don't think the BHW is the ideal place for noobs. I mean it's called "blackhat" for a reason. and you have to learn how to walk before you could run, no? This place isn't the best forum to teach you all the "basics" of the IM business. Things like how to set up adsense, clickbank... getting aff links/codes from them... editing html. I'm guessing most senior members here paid their dues in the more whitehat stuffs/forums before they came here, found success and contributed.

So if you are a complete noob. The best advice I could give you is go to the "member downloads" section... .download a bunch of the more *basic* ebooks people are selling on clickbank. (and not the DP shit) After you read a bunch of those... you will have a clearer idea on the stuffs you are having trouble to understand. Have question to ask about these whitehat, basic techniques and can't find your answer here? go to the warrior forum and read read read. Then come back here to incorperate into some blackhat ideas.

hehe , indeed its quite hard to do much unless you know some coding , html, and stuff like that , but those are something you can learn quite quick

i must say i dont make much and started with quite bad method but did it few weeks and it pays, tho now i know whats worth and whats not so i think i can scale it up to maybe 50e / day with few hours day wish i could have done it from start since iw been slacking few last weeks lol.

but mostly its annyoing that when you pay for something its mostly never what you imagined and when you set up ready made scripts the yare not what yo wanted them to be =/

Good advice from the replies.

I'd like to add that this forum can give you information overload. I am pretty technical but consider myself a noob in internet marketing, so each post gave me new ideas that took me all over the place. Get enough information so you have a repertoire of methods or strategies you can use, but don't spend all day reading.

The best way to learn is to actually go and do it. You don't have to go and spend money right away; I actually wouldn't recommend it. At this stage, it would be hard for you to judge what out there is worth spending some money on. There's a lot of free methods that you can try so you can get your feet wet.

Also, don't try to follow any tutorial step by step. Try being creative and put your spin on it. The member posts are there to show you what's possible with a current method. It's up to you how you want to execute it.

I'm making decent money doing Associated Content article submissions. I outsource all of it though, make about 10-15 a day. Not much, but you can put it towards bigger and better things. You don't NEED to know html or any techy stuff like that. You can outsource that for rather cheap, especially overseas. Adsense is rather easy actually, i had no html experience, but google posted a quick tut on how to do it. The reason i like blackhat, is because there are SO many methods to choose from and you can twist your own. Think about it, does an engineer get paid to copy someone elses idea? Nope, he thinks of his own or innovates on a pre existing idea. This is what it's all about, adopt someone else's idea or think of your own. Personally, i am not good at thinking of ideas from scratch, but i am a really good innovater which is what im shooting for. I'm going to do some nifty CL stuff that i took from Johnnypro's make 100 a day thread. I innovated it though, and am applying it differently. I'll probably post it once i make a good amount from it, or maybe PM it to noobs looking to make money. 80/20 rule applies, 80% won't do jack with it, while 20% will. Just try things, especially if they're free.

Wow, so many good replies. You guys are right, maybe this isnt the best place for noobs. I mean, you got guys here doing stuff who know what they are doing and then joe schmoe comes out of nowhere and sees that people are making lots of money online and they want in. I understand that I should get some knowledge and in fact I am greatfull that these forums are accesable at all and not private like they could be. I am in school for IT and hopefully will learn some good stuff that I could eventually apply to BH. Anyways, thank you for your replies, ill just keep trying these methods and eventually they will pay off.

You can get ahold of him on the Warrior Forum.

For the most part you are going to want to avoid the Warrior Forum because it is full of idiots, but definitely look Luke up.

He offers coaching and knows plenty of Blackhat methods.

However, his services aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for. He expects you to give him three months of revenue sharing, but I think this is reasonable because he only makes more money by helping you make more.

Also you have BHW member valwardon here that is putting together a mentor site like freelance you can check out once he is done if you find luke too expensive.
