Feeling a bit ashamed of myself, been here since 2008 and haven't contributed as much as other newer members. If you care to read, here is my story... I was born in HK, but moved to Australia since I was 8, been living there for 13 years - mostly by myself since I was 18, my parents didn't stay with me. I just finished my master degree in Fashion Design, (lol a bit off topic to IM) but I got sucked into the world of IM in 2006 when I was 16. I was scammed by some ads about making money lol from my neopet site haha, long story short, here are some of the things I have attempted since then-> data entries/BANS/ebay cookie stuffing/wealthy affiliate member/survey entries/blackhat adsense/ppc/CPA/flipping website/flipping domain/niche sites/selling on ebay/taobao agent/clickbank/list building/amazon affiliate, etc, etc. Now I'm trying to make a living while I look for a fashion related jobs locally.

I have finally found my passion in keyword research. I read a lot and tried many tools, the best is still my brain with help of go0gle keyword tool and a few others. Anyway, I started a gig a few months back at fiverr, I haven't done ANY promotion, just applied what I've learnt from here and other mistakes I've learnt from the past. (I've made a lot of bad investments on domains and building site and TIME and then I realised I've got the wrong keyword/niche) So I still think keyword research is the most important in IM, will save you a lot of time and money.

I got some feedback and requests, so I keep improving my service and the report. The Fiverr gig took off and I've received a lot of awesome feedbacks. I still haven't done much with my website, only registered domain. My first dollar story comes from posting on forums. I was a complete noob! I spent hours earning peanuts. Got tired and then My search brought me to BHW. This sound very interesting. I have checked out your fiverr name and you know your stuff! Can i get any profitable keyword on the 'health' niche that will be easy to rank.

My first dollar actually came way of Ebay.

I used to shop at a store called "Tuesday Mornings". One day I brought the wrong item but it was on clearance and non refundable. I decided to post it on Ebay and see if I could sell it. BOOM! It sold and I made a $3.00 profit. I would have made more but I screwed up the shipping. Then I reposted the item (which was a can opener) and waited until it sold. With the right shipping I made $7.00. I reposed again, but this time didn't buy the item yet. I waited. Once I got notified on my blackberry from ebay, I just went and brought the item on my way home from work. After selling 4 in 4 days I knew these things were in high demand so I went to All the Tuesday Morning stores within driving distance and brought all the can openers they had. I also wrote down 9 other products. I looked up the products on the internet, got pictures and posted them that night.

Now I had 30 can openers selling at 2 or 3 a day. and 9 items posted and "Tuesday Morning" was carrying my inventory. I did this up to $200/week. Over 600 100% positve feedbacks. Then I fell into affiliate marketing and shut ebay down. It was then easier to sell products with a squidoo lens. Those were the good ol' days.

There is my 1st dollar story.

My first $ also came from selling personal stuff on Ebay, nothing exciting just got rid of stuff i didn't need anymore.

Anyway, I would love a keyword in the health niche or if that is not available anything that doesn't have a brand name in it.

Don't feel like writing a whole speech. So I'll just keep it short and simple(like your sig). Made my first dollar online by buying and reselling used iphones on ebay/craigslist etc.

Hopefully, I qualify for a nice kw. Thanks a bunch for doing this for the community.

First dollar online...

I purchased bulk dvd's and sold them individually on ebay. The profit started to go down and it wasn't worth my time anymore. Luckily I found blackhatworld and life has been great! Started getting into the youtube scene and have done a lot of commenting and comment rating and making bank! Also some content locking which has also been great! I wish you all the best in growing your business!!! Keep up the work!

This was a simple thing that I did a lot when I was younger.

I would take a nice CPA lead, mostly in the gaming department that only needed an email and then downloaded gameplays from Youtube and then comment on them. I would go through a few of them a day and this brought me around $10/Day by the end of the month.

Like the first 2, my very first money online came from Ebay. I am an artist and I made quite a bit of money back in the day selling original pencil drawings of super-heroes and naked women to buyers on Ebay. Surprisingly, many of my customer were women. Maybe they were buying the drawings as one-of-a-kind gifts.

My favorite part of doing this for the year or so that I did, was interacting with the people who bought from me. I even got gifts sent to me from a few of them -- including an album by the band The Recipe that I still have and listen to regularly.

I also loved doing the drawings and still draw regularly for relaxation.

My least favorite part -- and ultimately the reason I stopped selling -- was the packing and shipping. Such a hassle.

My first IM money came from Adsense on an SBI site that is no longer around about Old Time Radio.

My first dollar came from domain parking. Actually it was quite a few dollars until the economy tanked. I have since sold the domain for a lot of $. Don't care too much about the niche, just want a quality keyword with good potential.

My first dollar story comes from nms site. When I was researching, I found BHW by luck. My nms start to earn after 2 months after that. It is exciting when the nms is ranked on google 1st page

My first dollar online came a few years ago with clickbank selling Farmville guides, I made a few good accounts on Facebook and managed to get a few sales. Was very happy when I saw that first sale. Thinking back I probably could have made a lot more with CPA marketing but was definitely a good learning experience!

Nothing extraordinary so far. Earned my first dollar online after joining bhw doing email campaigns and graphics work as freelancer. Though not able to devote much time earlier, now learning the basics of IM. Being a computer science graduate is helping me grasping the things quicker. Researched about few keywords just few mins back using Wikipedia and google keyword tool. So far got some keywords with 0.1 competition and 0.8 -1 cpc. I will be grateful to you if you give your guidance in setting up my first website. Thanks.

Nice one! I'm crap at keyword research, so this is a godsend.

My first dollar came from looking for eBay items, that people had obviously listed at the wrong time. These auctions would end at the equivalent of half two in the morning or some other ungodly hour. I ended up buying designer tops, boots, whatever I could get my hands on.

I then simply re-listed them to finish at a reasonable time at the weekend for more exposure. Pair of timberland boots..£16, I then sold them on for £90, so on and so on. Not sure why I stopped doing that actually. I remember telling pals exactly what i was doing and to get in on it. Not one of them did it. really reinforces the point that only a few percent of people will take action.

The first time I ever made money on the net was from online gambling. A guy on a completely unrelated forum posted about how me made money by playing Blackjack. I sent him a PM to ask what he was doing. He linked me to a website that explained all about 'bonus hunting' (exploiting casino bonuses by playing in a way that puts the chances of making a profit in your favour). I looked at the website and got the jist of it but I didn't get involved. I was a bit sceptical of it all AND I was working full time saving up money to to spend a year in Australia and I just didn't want to risk any of my hard earned and saved money on gambling no matter how risk free it appeared to be. So I went off to Aus and then onto South East Asia and forgot all about it. Fast forward a year later I was back home, no money, no job and nothing to lose. I checked it out again and it was still possible to do (though much less money to be made, if I had started when I found out I could have made a LOT more money from it) so I took the plunge. Started playing my first casino bonus, found it so ridiculously tedious playing thousands of hands of BJ manually that when I had increased my balance in the casino up by around $600 I got carried away and started GAMBLING and not playing as I was supposed to. Lost the lot. Was a bit disheartened and going to quit as I couldn't afford to lose money, I was broke. Someone advised me of a blackjack bot that would play perfect blackjack for me so I decided to buy it ($100) and try another bonus. Bot was amazing and won me a good amount of money on that bonus. Decided to really go for it and played every bonus I could. Ended up making about $15k in 6 months and decided to take off to South America for 6 months. When I got back bonus hunting was pretty much dead and not profitable any more. Fun whilst it lasted though.

Have been involved in other things on and off since like making money from adult content. Made a lot of money from that too and took off travelling for another 6 months only to find out it was no longer viable when I got home. Had to get a real job after that as was out of ideas. Worked my real job for 6 months and quit, took off on the road again and met a few people who were into internet marketing and MMO, they put me on to Blackhatworld and other forums and here I am. Currently making small money from re-selling fiverr gigs on SEOClerks. Made a profit but it's not enough, getting around 1 sale a day for the past week and need around 10 at least. Branching out into other projects too.

If I'm able to get a keyword then I'll let you decide what to give me. Surprise me.
